REGULATIONS
Play
cannot take place on any Sunday after 2pm and on any Public Bank Holiday. A requirement of the Conservators is that all players on the
course must wear a plain pillar box-red outer garment and the Rangers, who patrol the common,
are empowered to stop people playing if they contravene this rule.
SOCIETY BOOKINGS
Provisional
bookings may be made by telephone but must be confirmed in writing within two weeks, failing which the provisional booking
will lapse. Societies are asked to forecast their numbers as accurately as possible and to notify the final numbers to the
Secretary's office 48 hours prior to booking date. They will be invoiced for settlement on the day.
TO CONFIRM YOUR BOOKING PLEASE RETURN A 25% DEPOSIT TOGETHER WITH THE BOOKING FORM.
SOCIETIES ARE ONLY ACCEPTED MONDAYS TO FRIDAYS
THE FIRST TEE WILL BE RESERVED AT 8.45 AM and 1.45PM WHICH TIMES MUST BE STRICTLY OBSERVED,
DEVIATION FROM THESE TIMES MAY ONLY BE MADE BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT WITH THE SECRETARY.
