COVID-19 and the Impact on our Club
Our main aim is to ensure that the golf course remains open so that members and visitors can make use of the course to get out and have some fresh air and exercise.
Our clubhouse has been deep cleaned and will need to be used judicially to ensure it is not recontaminated. It will re open again on Friday 20th March at 07:45 with access through the back door to the bar only.
All areas of the clubhouse will remain closed apart from the following areas:
- The wooden floored section of the bar
- The outside toilet
Visitors may purchase green fees from the bar. Essential accessories that are normally available in the golf shop, such as golf balls and tees, will also be available to purchase from the bar. Drinks from the bar will be served in disposable containers and we ask that everyone puts them in the bin after use. You may still use the coffee machine as long as you wash your hands before use. Staff will be doing extra cleaning and will be provided with the necessary protective gear to do this safely.
We are going cashless so all payments must be made via debit or credit card (reminder we do not accept American Express).
Members with clubs in the locker rooms may ask the member of staff on duty in the bar area to retrieve them for you. Please provide them with your key and locker number when doing this. You may access the trolley stores to get your trolley as long as you wash your hands prior to using the keypad and entering.
All events and competitions up until 30th April have been cancelled so it's social golf only for the near future. We will update you if this is extended further.
When playing golf please refrain from touching the flagsticks. The green staff have turned the hole cups upside down to help with this.
We feel these steps are necessary to ensure the safety of our staff, members and visitors and really appreciate your cooperation during these unprecedented times.
Please remember to wash your hands and adhere to social distancing. Further information can be found on the government website.
We will have limited staff working so please be patient. Please stay safe and see you at the club soon.
