Men's Section
We have an active and friendly club for men who are interested in competition play and also for those who prefer to play social golf. Our diverse competitions programme includes monthly medals, pairs and singles knockout events, friendly fixtures against other local clubs, mixed pairs events and also regional and national competitions. New members are always welcome, regardless of whether you are a novice golfer who has not yet acquired a handicap, looking to play an occasional social round or an experienced golfer with a current handicap. The Course is challenging but not too long and we are lucky to be able to play all year round on amazing greens. |

Ladie's Section
We have an active and friendly section that caters for ladies interested in competition play and also for those who prefer to play social golf. Our diverse competitions programme includes monthly medals, pairs and singles knockout events, friendly fixtures against other local clubs, mixed pairs events and also regional and national competitions. We have a busy social diary which includes bridge afternoons and an annual summer tour which always proves popular with the lady members. New members are always welcome into the ladies section, regardless of whether you are a novice golfer who has not yet acquired a handicap, looking to play an occasional social round or an experienced golfer with a current handicap. Senior's Section
Are you 55 years of age or older, and available to play weekdays? Then come join a jolly group of men for golf twice a week. The Wimbledon Ageless Gentlemen Golfers' Society, or WAGGS, are a friendly, relaxed, and very social group of golfers. WAGGS competitions (mostly informal) are held on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. There are matches against 12 other nearby clubs, including away matches against Royal Wimbledon, Reigate Heath, Richmond and Roehampton. Join the WAGGS

Family Membership
Membership at Wimbledon Common Golf Club is a great value for golfers of all ages and lifestyles!
Our Family Membership category includes two adults and two children under eighteen years of age on 1st April of the year of subscription.
Parents must accompany children on the course until signed off by a WCGC Professional.
The subscription for a family membership is twice the full 7-day annual rate.

The Academy membership is a 12 month programme. The subscription includes lessons with Alex Williams, our PGA professional, alongside full use of the clubhouse, the club's practice facilities, and access to the course at designated times (once our Professional has issued a certificate of competency).

With regular individual and group lessons, you will cover all aspects of the game, gaining confidence along the way whilst seeing your pathway to gaining a handicap.

All new academy members undertake a friendly discussion and assessment of their current golfing abilities with Alex Williams, our PGA Professional, prior to joining.
How the assessment will run:
The Academy membership is a 12 month programme. The subscription includes lessons with Alex Williams, our PGA professional, alongside full use of the clubhouse, the club's practice facilities, and access to the course at designated times (once our Professional has issued a certificate of competency).

With regular individual and group lessons, you will cover all aspects of the game, gaining confidence along the way whilst seeing your pathway to gaining a handicap.
- Learn to play golf at a friendly club
- Receive expert advice from a Top PGA Professional
- Develop the appropriate skills and knowledge to enjoy the game of golf
- Progress to Full membership of Wimbledon Common Golf Club
The Academy Golf Package
The Academy membership costs £900 per annum. Included in this price, you will receive:
- 18 lessons: 12 Individual lessons and 6 Group Lessons. The lessons are 45 minutes long, using all of the club's practice facilities. The group lessons will cover all areas of the game, whilst you can choose the area you wish to focus on in your individual lessons.
- Advice on basic rules and etiquette
- Full use of the clubhouse and practice facilities
- £50 credit on your bar card with drinks available at a 20% discount
- Access to the golf course at designated times will be granted by the Club Professional when he judges academy members have the required ability. (Some Group lessons are conducted on the course to help aid development.)
Joining Our Academy
All new academy members undertake a friendly discussion and assessment of their current golfing abilities with Alex Williams, our PGA Professional, prior to joining.
How the assessment will run:
- 1 hour-long session with a maximum of 3 participants at the cost of £20 per person
- Skill-based tasks will test the participants' ability in chipping, putting and swing work
- The £20 fee will be deducted from your Academy membership fee if you subsequently join
